It's a journey. It's a daily thought and doing.  It's finding your passion, and working your passion.  It's looking at the BIG Picture and not only being social in social media, but also showing up in the right places.  Giving back to those who have helped you along the way.  Creating an Arts Business is a lifestyle. 

It has been the most rewarding aspect of my life.  I always come back to my Art, my creative spirit.  That is what has gotten me through so many challenging times in my life.  The business part of it can be fun, make it fun.  You are always growing, when you are creating your business. It's exciting, it's dreaming, it is seeing those dreams come to fruition. 

I will always be an Artist, for my whole entire life.   The business part of it gives the art I create value.  My way to contribute to  community. 

Think BIG! And THINK BIGGER!  The possibilities are endless.  You have the power to Create!  A gift you are able to share.  That is the joy of creating! 

A favorite quote, that reminds me of the power of Creating  is
"You don't find Yourself you Create Yourself"   If you believe that, you can do anything!  So have the mindset!  Create an Arts Business!  Start Today!

​"JAZZ & Beyond" Festival Poster and T-Shirt Contest.

I don't personally enter contests that charge you to enter.  That makes me feel a bit uncomfortable and if you have a twinge of uncertainty I would suggest you don't enter also.  If you do the numbers you will realize how much money an organization is able to make with entry fees alone. 

Plus if the contest is ran through a non-profit entity if you win you get great FREE advertising coverage!  It is a WIN-WIN for everyone!

You might think it crazy or maybe a bit silly, or even weird but my idea of relaxing is working on art graphics.   I just sit and play and create designs, like the one below on my computer.  That is how I relax my mind, recharge, and restore my energy to do the things I have to do! Business wise and otherwise.  Just saying!  How is it you relax • recharge • restore your mind to do the things you have to do?  Is it constructive, destructive or  a distraction?   Think on that one!  Back to the real world I go...

Creating art is a meditative process, it has helped me more that once in my life, to understand and work through my inner feelings, to think things through during challenging times and life situations!  My art has always been there for me. I can count on it, always!  I find myself delving into my art deepest, especially when life or people disappoint me.  I believe it is a most healthy way to make it to the next day!  My creative spirit is my inspiration and muse, I live and love it passionately.  It is ME!
