Exciting News! In September of 2017 I was accepted to teach an art workshop for the Yosemite Conservancy. In the medium of Plastic Clay. I have been working with the medium for years and never would have thought it could take me to Yosemite for a week. Accommodations included!
You never know where your next opportunity will come from.

Earlier in the year I was asked to become the Vice President of Guest Speakers for Nevada's oldest visual arts organization. I took the position to bring the club into the limelight and offer speakers who will hopefully bring new members to the club. In doing so I have invited UNR University Gallery Director Paul Baker Prindle to discuss what opportunities our youth have in creating an arts career in this century. The public is invited! Being involved in a community effort is rewarding and if you have the opportunity I would suggest you take on a position in an organization that interests you. GET INVOLVED. It doesn't have to be Art oriented just, get involved, with something greater then yourself. Good Luck! Make things happen!
As a Designer member of the Association for Creative Industries (AFCI) I was asked to contribute to the 2017 Designer Section Trends Report. I accepted the invitation. Thank You!
